Taylor Orci

Taylor Orci (they/them) is a non-binary Latinx journalist-turned TV writer. Most recently they adapted and wrote 5 pilots for original projects for TV for Netflix, Dreamworks and Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, and YouTube Premium. They were also on the writing staff of VIDA for Starz and the Emmy-nominated KIPO for Netflix. During the pandemic, they wrote a live action comedy feature for New Line Cinema. Taylor wrote and created the viral video, "Bitchy Resting Face," which got the phrase in the dictionary. Their professional career started as a journalist with NPR. They’ve written features for McSweeney’s, Cosmopolitan, The Atlantic, and New York Magazine.
