Sarah McCarron

HBO's Made For Love, 1 pilot

Sarah McCarron is a writer and performer. Sarah is currently writing for Apple TV's LURE starring Robert Downey, Jr. and wrote for MADE FOR LOVE with HBO Max starring Ray Romano; STATION ELEVEN with Patrick Somerville, HBO Max, directed by Hiro Murai. Sarah's one-hour television drama, Crude, is currently in development with Participant Media and Executive Producer Uzodinma Iweala. She also wrote on the HBO drama Luck starring Dustin Hoffman; the upcoming dark satire. Sarah is a writer and performer with an MFA in Ensemble Devised Physical Theatre from the London International School of the Performing Arts, in the pedagogy of Jacques Lecoq. She has been commissioned to develop new plays in both Europe and the United States, including with Obie Award-winning Pig Iron Theatre Company. Sarah was featured in collaboration with Emily Mast's Hold Your Tension at the Roy & Edna Disney Cal Arts Theatre (REDCAT), and Sorority, a queer performances salon in Los Angeles curated by Gina Young, sponsored by the Hammer. Sarah recently collaborated on a developmental workshop through UCLA for trans playwright Sylvan Oswald's Trainers. Sarah was the 2017 Writer in Residence at the prestigious William Inge Center for the Arts, in collaboration with Otis Guernsey Award-winner Lauren Gunderson and Pulitzer Prizer-winner Beth Henley. Sarah's comedy feature, D.I.Y., received a production grant from the Duplass Brothers in partnership with Seed & Spark, and looks at the institution of marriage from a queer perspective.
