David Albright

David Albright is a WGA Award nominated writer and educator. His on air credits include Apple’s SHINING GIRLS, for which he served as Executive Story Editor, and HBO's TRUE DETECTIVE: NIGHT COUNTRY. He previously worked as a staff writer on FURNISS, an hour long horror-drama from creators Macon Blair and Fede Alvarez, developed by AMC and DAY FIVE, a Streamy-winning Rooster Teeth series which aired on El Rey Network. He also wrote episodes for BLACKOUT, a narrative podcast starring Oscar-winner Rami Malek. He has developed a number of original pilots including AZALEA, a grounded sci-fi drama with Clovis Entertainment, and AGE OF REASON, a period thriller with Two & Two Pictures, along with re-write work on SUNBORNE, a sci-fi drama for Gaumont. David started out making short narrative and documentary films, including ETHAN & ELI, runner up for Best Dramatic screenplay at the Slamdance Film Festival.
