Netflix’s YOU Executive Producer Neil Reynolds (3 Pilots) helps you craft characters that reflect the passion your show demands, brainstorm the elements you want to see along the way and reverse engineer your five-act story through thrilling act outs that will take your narrative to its desired conclusion. From your big teaser to your penultimate reveal, you’ll stay the course, discovering your voice as your show’s author while twisting and turning your way into a riveting confrontation that leaves us yearning for more.
By the end of the class you’ll leave with a concise, compelling beat sheet, the map that’ll take your future draft to the finish line, as well as answers to essential questions that will point you there.

Neil Reynolds
Exec Producer, YOU, 3 Pilots
Neil Reynolds is a writer/producer. Most recently, he was an Executive Producer on the hit series YOU (Netflix) and wrote on all five seasons of the show. Prior to that, he was a Co-Executive Producer on two seasons of DOOM PATROL (HBO Max) and worked his way up to Producer across four seasons of VAMPIRE DIARIES (CW). He's sold pilots to TNT, Roku and Peacock (the latter of which he Co-Created with YOU Co-Creator and Showrunner Sera Gamble). He's been developing and consulting on tv projects for over a decade. He's mentored young writers with Mentorship Matters and through his alma mater, USC's Peter Stark Producing program. Before moving to LA to pursue writing, Neil spent the better part of his twenties finding his voice on stage, through improv, sketch, and theater in Boston. MORE
