What We Do In The Shadows

Lauren Wells is a screenwriter who wrote on FX's Emmy nominated television show WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS for 3 seasons and was most recently a Story Editor for season six. Prior to getting staffed, she was the show's Writers' Assistant. Additionally, she was a Writers' Assistant on UNBREAKABLE KIMMY SCHMIDT (Netflix), assisted the Line Producer on HAPPY! (SyFy), and was the Showrunner's Assistant on ANGELYNE (Peacock). Over the past year, Lauren adapted Bram Stoker's DRACULA as a twenty episode podcast series called MINA + LUCY'S GUIDE TO SLAYING DRACULA. Produced by Gen Z Media, the series stars Bradley Whitford. Lauren studied improv and sketch comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre while finishing her M.F.A in Writing and Producing for Television at LIU Brooklyn. She has a B.A. in English from Hobart + William Smith Colleges, where she focused on creative writing and poetry. Lauren's poetry has been featured in New York Quarterly, Everyday Genius, Burner Magazine, and The Legendary. MORE
