ON-AIR: A SAN FRANCISCO RADIO STORYTELLING CLASS

Have you ever wanted to have your story aired on a show like This American Life? In this 5 week Radio Storytelling Workshop, Snap Judgement Producer Davey Kim will show you how to take a true, personal story and turn it into a great 5-10 min. piece for the radio. You’ll learn the differences between performed and broadcast storytelling. By the end of the class, you’ll have produced and recorded a story for the air waves that you can send out to This American Life, Unfictional, Snap Judgement, or The Moth Radio Hour. Before you know it, you will be ready to join the ranks of the 9 students who have made it onto a radio storytelling show (and got paid for their stories).
