Let Moth GrandSLAM winner and This American Life Story Scout and Contributor Elna Baker share her tips for turning heartbreak, humiliation, and tragedy into a riveting five-minute piece that is the perfect mix of vulnerability and comedic vavoom. In this six week class, you’ll learn how to find what’s funny in your foibles, structure a compelling story and connect solidly with your audience. You’ll get targeted feedback on your draft to help you polish up your diddies for show time. By the end of the class, you’ll have written a polished story that’s ready to perform at storytelling shows like The Moth or Risk!
