You have all the elements of a great Spec: a great show, an original premise and a solid beat sheet. Unfortunately, the thought of actually writing the spec draft fills you with dread every time you stare down at the blank screen. No problem! Zach Ayers (ABC Writing Fellow, State of Affairs) will take through the paces in this seven-week Los Angeles TV Spec Draft Writing Workshop. He will help you hone your beat sheets, turn them into an outline, and craft your fresh new take on an existing show with pizazz. Zach will also show you how to write that killer opening scene and turn your detailed roadmap into literary gold. Students will also be put in study groups to keep you on track week to week. By the end of the class, you’ll have made progress on your first draft and be on your to way to revising it. Fellowship invitation not included.

FOR A PAYMENT PLAN
A payment plan for this class is 7 weekly payments of $111.86. All payment plans include an additional $70 admin fee and a small credit card processing fee which is built into each weekly payment. Your card will automatically be charged once per week for 7 weeks until your class is paid off. At minimum, you must pay for each class meeting before it meets. Once you sign up for a payment plan, you are responsible for paying in full regardless of your class attendance. Rejected payment transactions are subject to an additional $25 fee.CLICK HERE.
All sales are final and there are no refunds. Credit may be offered based on class availability. If you can’t come to class, call or email us as far in advance as possible. We will do everything we can to fill your spot, but we can’t make any guarantees. Credit eligibility is not based upon your reason for being unable to attend a class; it is based upon the timing of your credit request and our ability to fill your spot. If we find someone to take your place, you will receive class credit minus a $25 processing fee for 1 day classes and $50 processing fee for long classes. Otherwise, your payment will be forfeit. If the class is being paid for as part of a payment plan, regardless of whether the student stops attending class, the payment plan must be paid in full by the end of the class.
