Everyone has at least one amazing book in them. But how do you find it? Let award-winning author Tiphanie Yanique show you how. In this one day class she’ll share her secret techniques for finding the stories that only you can tell. Through fun in-class exercises you’ll learn how to use your own experiences and memories to imbue your novel with a sense of place that is so specific, that the reader feels transported to another time and place. By the end of the class, you’ll have written some pages rich in detail and dialogue, and have a new set of literary tools at your disposal to boot. Pushcart Prize not included.
